We are closing...
Better Tomorrows Adult Education Center is closing its doors in October 2008. We have helped over 400 students in 4 years get their GED, learn to read, and learn how to use computers.
We give our sincerest thanks to the many volunteers, donors, and supporters of Better Tomorrows. Because of you, many people have better days ahead: better jobs, better relationships, and a better understanding of the world around them.
Now it is time for the co-founders to take care of themselves as they face and embrace the challenges in their lives. One co-founder is focusing on cancer treatment, and the other is moving to Kentucky because of the ministry of her husband.
The need is still there: many more people in Nashville want to strengthen themselves and their families through education but just need your helping hands and hearts in doing so. People should be able to dream their dreams, pursue them joyfully, and achieve them unhindered by their current circumstances: poverty, lack of education, location, and their past. Please do what you can to help people make their dreams come true: volunteer, donate, and pray. And do not be afraid to think outside of the box! Call 211 or goto www.211tn.org for more information.
Kindest regards, Mary Humber and Tammy Unruh, Co-Founders
